Resume Quality

One Percent Resume holds true to it’s name as a service that provides top of the line resumes. Along with resume and CV writing, they are unique in that they offer resume review services as well.

While their review services are used to ultimately pitch their resume services, the value you get out their review service is very high. You’ll get a full report that showcases what you could potentially fix with your resume, while going over if your resume is ATS compatible and ready to be submitted to employers.

Writer Credentials

One Percent Resume has a team of around 20 resume writers, most of whom are freelancers. Their writers are well-rounded and many of them are certified professional resume writers.

Process

Their resume review process is very simple. You submit your resume to them and they provide you with a report of your resume within a day or two.

Their general resume writing process is similar to most resume services. You start by filling out a form, then afterwards you’re connected with a writer who will work with you to write your new resume and then provide revisions if necessary.

They also offer unlimited revisions for one week, which is definitely a huge positive, though also a common feature among other resume services as well.

After placing an order on their site, you’ll be directed to fill out a work history form. From there, they assign you a writer that fits your industry who will schedule a phone call with you. Once you’ve talked to your writer, he or she will provide you a draft of your resume within a week.

Pricing

One Percent Resume’s resume review package goes for $50 while their actual resume service, without any add-ons, is priced at $300. This is in the same ballpark as resume services such as ResumeGo and Resume Writing Services, which price their resume packages at $200 and $270, respectively.

Service Options

Aside from their resume review, One Percent Resume’s main resume writing package consists of 4 add-ons – a cover letter, LinkedIn profile, thank you letter, and letter of interest. They also used to offer interview coaching but has recently halted this particular service.

Review package didn’t help at all

Otto B

They basically said my resume was already really well written.

I asked for money back afterwards, but they said they don’t offer it. If you don’t help me with my resume in any way then why do you deserve my money afterwards? Ridiculous

Not regretting their services by one bit.

Kenya N

I was a little hesitant about paying for my resume to be updated. I am working but I am a consultant, so I wanted to update my resume to ready for my next adventure. I would have to say that I was very pleased how it turns out. It was very professionally done. I’;m ready to begin my search for a new position and looking forward to seeing if my resume will really make difference. Will keep you all posted.

It was okay, but not as good as I'd like

Hernandez X

Ended up with some mistakes and things I’d like changed. I had to put more effort in it than I think I should have considered it’s my own money I’m spending.
